• About Bristol Gurmat Class

Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Gurmat Vidhyala (Bristol) was innaugrated by Singh Sahib Jathedar Sant Baba Avtar Singh Jee (Mukhi Sampardaye Dal Baba Bidhi Chand Sahib) on 8th July 2023. Previously, the  organisation and it’s extensive projects were known as “Bristol Gurmat Class”.

Bristol Gurmat Class was founded in 2017 with support from Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Bristol. The organisation runs classes for local children and quickly became the region’s leading Sikh supplementary education program.

To develop love and admiration towards our Gurus, Gursikhs and Sikh History

Create

To create or increase a knowledge base on Sikh Philosophy, Scripture and History

Provide

To provide formal teaching of Gurbani Santhya (pronunciation of Gurbani)

Promote

To promote all the tenets of the Sikh Faith including the principles of Seva-Simran (Selfless Service and Meditation), Miri-Piri (Saint-Soldier), Amrit (Initiation), Rehat (Code of Conduct) and Satkaar (Respect).
